2027 US OPEN TOURNAMENT TENNIS PACKAGES

The 2027 US Open is expected to run from Sunday, August 29, through Sunday, September 12. It's played at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, Queens, the grounds that are home to Arthur Ashe Stadium, the tournament's main court. Fan Week and qualifying are the week before. The USTA hasn't confirmed the final schedule yet, so check usopen.org before you lock in your dates.

The first week is best if you want to see as many players as possible. Every seed is still in the draw, and there are matches on all the outer courts.

Labor Day weekend brings third-round and Round of 16 matches, day and night, plus a holiday weekend in New York. In 2027, Labor Day falls on Monday, September 6, and it's the weekend our US Open trips are built around. Tell us your dates, and we'll plan the rest.

The finals are worth it if one big match matters more to you than a full day of tennis.

A day session gives you more tennis: several matches in Arthur Ashe Stadium, plus time to explore the outer courts. A night session has fewer matches but the best atmosphere of the tournament, with play under the lights starting around 7 p.m. Day and night sessions are separate, so if your schedule allows, try one of each.

We recommend Midtown Manhattan, near Grand Central Terminal. From there, the 7 train gets you to Mets–Willets Point in about 30 to 40 minutes, and the gates are about a 12-minute walk from the station. The train is also the easiest way back after a night session, when rideshares are hard to find. That's why our US Open host stays near Grand Central every year.

Staying in Queens only makes sense if tennis is your whole trip. Tell us how you'd like to spend your time in New York, and we'll build the trip around it.

There's no dress code. Wear light summer clothes, comfortable shoes, and a hat, bring sunscreen, and pack a light layer for night sessions.

Bring only one small bag. Backpacks with more than one compartment aren't allowed, and bags have a size limit. You can bring an empty reusable water bottle and refill it on the grounds. Bag, food, and camera rules can change from year to year, so check usopen.org before you go.

Partly, yes. During Fan Week, the week before the main draw, grounds admission has been free, with qualifying matches and players practicing on the outer courts. In 2026, fans 18 and older needed a free Fan Access Pass, and the USTA also held one free grounds day during the second week.

Fan Week makes a great first day for a longer trip, but it doesn't include main-draw matches in Arthur Ashe Stadium.

2027 is the first US Open in a fully renovated Arthur Ashe Stadium. The USTA's $800 million project, scheduled to finish before the 2027 tournament, adds a larger courtside seating bowl, new suite levels, a new Grand Entrance, new loge and promenade levels, new hospitality lounges, and upgraded concourses with new food and drink options, restrooms, escalators, and elevators.

The total depends on four things: the days and sessions you choose, your seats, a New York hotel in late summer, and your flights. Labor Day weekend and the finals are the busiest times, so planning early makes a real difference.
