What started as a spur-of-the-moment decision to go to the Australian Open turned into the trip of a lifetime for our family.  We had gone to Wimbledon with Mac Sports Travel two years ago and had a great experience, so we knew we wanted to work with them again. Having been to Australia previously, my husband and I wanted to go a bit off the beaten track, so we decided to go, with our college-age children, to Bora Bora and then Tasmania before heading to Melbourne for the Open. We gave Michael an idea of the types of things we like to do on vacation, and he arranged a fabulous itinerary, with a combination of sightseeing and activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving and kayaking.  We loved all the places he selected for us to go, and everything was perfectly arranged. And when our initial airline flight to Los Angeles- upon which the whole trip depended- was cancelled at the last minute, with no other available flights from the entire New York area, Michael saved the day and managed to get us to LA on time.  Of course the highlight of the trip was the Australian Open, and it didn’t disappoint.  Michael was really helpful with orienting us around the venue to make the most of our time there.  We loved having tickets for different sessions in each of the 3 main stadiums so we could see what each of them was like.  We saw some great tennis, and will certainly never forget watching Roger Federer in Rod Laver Arena. So now we are beginning to look ahead to a trip to the French Open (the last Grand Slam on the list for our family) and we will certainly be going with Mac Sports Travel!
